Juveniles named ready for the 2025 season

It's an exciting time to be an owner!!

One of the privileges of owning a racehorse is to name the horse and our owners have been busy finding racing names for their new season prospects.

A horse we like very much, the two-year-old gelding by Bated Breath out of Bella Varenna has been named Howsham by owner Mark Hickling.

Also named this week was the home-bred Tasleet gelding out of multiple winner Harvest Day. Owner Mrs Mason has kept faith with the agricultural names, and he will race as The Jolly Farmer.

We wish Mr Hickling and Mrs Mason the very best of luck with their horses in 2025 and we hope Howsham and The Jolly Farmer are names you'll become familiar with as the year progresses.
