Reach and Jo Mason star in easy Nottingham win

Reach was a comfortable winner this afternoon taking the 'Join Racing TV Now Handicap' at Nottingham, beating Angel's Landing by three lengths.

After a very good run at York where she was fourth of 18 to Kihavah over a mile and a half she stepped back in trip to record her second career win. She was returned at odds of 10/11.

Joanna Mason, fresh from success aboard Shimmering Sands at Doncaster, was the successful rider.

Much credit for the win also goes to Sarah Finch who is Reach's regular rider on the gallops and rides her out every morning.

A beautifully bred filly, Reach was purchased from the Tattersalls Mares Sale in December 2021 for just £1,500 and she's proved a superb buy. Long term she will be very valuable for the paddocks.
