Unplugged, who defied a three year absence from the track when winning at Pontefract last time out, returns to the racecourse at Chester on Sunday. In the colours of Pellon Racing, Unplugged has been drawn in stall one for the 'Family Fun Day Handicap' over an extended ten furlongs at the Roodee. Shane Gray takes the ride. Unplugged came to the yard from Andrew Balding in 2020 and repaid the patience of owner Simon Windle with a magnificent victory last month when he beat stable-mate Bavardages, who has since franked the form. With the ground at Chester currently riding as good to soft the six-year-old son of Alhebayeb will line up for Sunday's finale in front of what promises to be a bumper holiday crowd. |
