In 2017 we trained a racehorse by the name of Furze Boy owned by the late Linda Folwell. Sadly he didn't have the speed to make the racing grade, so he was retrained for polo.
In 2018 he came first in the RoR Racing to Polo Challenge Three Year Old class, held at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club for international polo player Ralph Richardson. After retiring from polo Furze Boy was retrained for eventing and he's coming along beautifully, being trained by Ralph's mum. The picture shows him ridden by Miss Liberty Smith at the British Eventing Horse Trials, Kingston Maurward College. He was the BE100 class (maximum height show jumping of 105cm and cross country of 100cm). | |||||||||
