A good looking brown gelding by Havana Gold, Dark Gold raced ten times on the flat. He was retired after finisning fifth of 13 at Wolverhampton.

Dark Gold was originally trained by Sir Mark Prescott and we promised Sir Mark that we'd find him a good home.

Rehomed to Samantha in November 2023 he was turned away and since has has some retraining with Amie Slinger.

"He's such a happy chap who wants to please and who has obviously been handled gently and lovingly," says Samantha. "He'll be coming home soon for a few weeks hacking before having winter off to absorb his training and finish growing."
