Uhuru Peak was home bred, from 14 times winning mare Catherine's Well. He made his debut at Southwell in 2004 and it took 14 races for him to lose his maiden tag. Uhuru Peak won at Redcar in 2005 for Serena Brotherton and the same partnership followed up at Warwick three weeks later. Further wins came at Carlisle in 2006 and Beverley in 2008. Serena was the only jockey to win on the horse. Uhuru Peak retired after finishing down the field at Beverley in 2009. He ran 50 times and won four races. | ||
