Sondad lost his maiden tag at the third attempt this afternoon when landing the 'Eileen Spindloe Memorial Restricted Novice Stakes'.
The son of Washington DC had shown good form in two maidens and was a deserved winner for Joanna Mason. Sondad is a nice big horse and we also have his two-year-old own brother, Frankyboy, in training.
