Contrast was an 11/1 winner of the 'Next Evening Meeting Wednesday 5th June Handicap' at Ripon this evening. Ridden by Joanna Mason the ten-year-old defeated Golden Melody by a neck to record his eighth career victory. Contrast started his career with Richard Hannon and won two races for his former trainer before joining us in 2019. He has been a very good servant, having won six times since coming to the stable with victories at Yarmouth, Beverley, Lingfield, Nottingham, Carlisle and now Ripon. |
